An eight-step protocol

The Strategy Session is not a single appointment. It is a structured pathway that begins with a phone call and ends with a written plan in your hand — whether you join CURA permanently or deploy the strategy elsewhere.

01

The preliminary call

Before any booking, a brief telephone conversation to understand what has brought you here and whether the Men’s Health Strategy Session is the right next step.
Some men book immediately. Others realise they need something else first. Both outcomes are useful.

15 mins
No charge
02

The intake form

After the call, you receive a comprehensive intake form. It covers the standard medical history — medications, allergies, family history and current concerns — and what most forms do not: sleep, libido, sexual function, cognition, energy, mood, diet, alcohol, and what you have stopped doing that you once enjoyed.

Many men find the form itself produces insight before the appointment begins.

20–30 mins
03

Records retrieval

With your authorisation, we retrieve your existing records — pathology, imaging, specialist letters, immunisations and medication history.
Wherever possible, this happens before the appointment, so the ninety minutes is not spent reconstructing information that already exists elsewhere.

Before the appointment
05

Pre-reading

The session itself. Structured, but unhurried.

First 20 minutes
Calibration
What brought you here, what you want, and what you have already tried. Some men have a specific concern. Some are well and want to remain that way. Some have built something and want to stay present for it.
The first task is to understand which conversation we are having.
Next 30 minutes
Clinical review across four domains
Cardiometabolic, sexual, cognitive and long-term health. Symptom-led, but systematic.

The questions men are rarely asked — about sleep, libido, mood, cognition and agency — are asked here.
30 minutes
Physical examination
A comprehensive examination including blood pressure dynamics, body composition, dermoscopic skin survey, and targeted system examinations where indicated.
Final 10 minutes
The preliminary plan
By this point, the conversation has produced a working view of what may be happening and what should happen next.
We agree on those next steps before you leave.
06

Immediate action points

You leave with a one-page handwritten summary: four to six actions, in priority order, written in real time and signed.
It is not the final report — that follows within forty-eight hours — but it captures what matters most before the appointment fades.

In your hand at the door
07

The written strategy report

A multi-section report, provided digitally and in print. It includes diagnostic impressions, recommended investigations, prescriptions where appropriate, allied health introductions, and a proposed twelve-month plan.
Specific enough to act on. Detailed enough to revisit. Yours regardless of what comes next.

Within 48hrs
08

The follow-up review

Once your investigations have returned, we speak again over the phone to review the results, refine the plan and decide what comes next.
Two outcomes are possible. Both are genuine.

Outcome A
Progression into membership
If the work begun here is the work CURA is built to continue, we discuss the appropriate track and membership pathway.
Your $495 is credited in full against your first year of membership.
Outcome B
Discharge & complete report
If membership is not the right next step, you receive a complete report addressed to your nominated GP.
The work is not lost. Your physician has the clinical picture and the plan; you decide how to use it.
The first appointment, as it was designed to be.
The $495 fee includes the enquiry call, intake review, records retrieval, pre-reading, ninety-minute consultation, handwritten action summary, written strategy report and follow-up phone review — whether you continue with CURA or return to your existing physician.

The entry point is a Strategy Session

Ninety minutes with Dr Wee. Your full history read before you arrive. A written plan in your hand when you leave — and a decision, taken without pressure, about whether the membership is the right fit for both sides.
