1. About these terms
These Terms of Use apply to your use of the CURA website, including curamd.com.au, any associated Webflow preview domain, and pages operated by CURA in connection with that website ("Website").

2. Website information is not individual medical advice
The Website contains information about health, medicine, CURA's services and Dr Luke Wee's clinical approach.
This information is general in nature. It does not take account of your medical history, examination findings, investigations, medications or individual circumstances and should not be treated as personalised medical advice.
Clinical information changes as evidence develops. Information published on the Website should not be used as a substitute for assessment by an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
3. No physician-patient relationship from using the Website
Browsing the Website, reading its articles, submitting an expression-of-interest form, sending an email or participating in an initial administrative enquiry does not by itself create a physician-patient relationship.
A clinical relationship begins when CURA agrees to provide a clinical service and the relevant clinical assessment, consent and administrative requirements have been completed. Submitting an enquiry does not oblige CURA or Dr Wee to accept you as a patient or member.
4. Emergencies
The Website, email and general enquiry forms are not emergency services and are not continuously monitored.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency in Australia, call 000 or attend an appropriate emergency department. Do not delay urgent medical treatment while waiting for a response from CURA.
5. CURA services
Information on the Website describes CURA's current service model but does not mean that any particular investigation, treatment, prescription, referral or intervention will be clinically appropriate for you.
All healthcare decisions remain subject to Dr Wee's independent professional judgement, applicable professional standards and informed consent. CURA may recommend that another practitioner or service is more appropriate for a particular problem.
6. Membership and clinical services
These Website Terms do not replace the terms governing a particular clinical service.
Where you become a patient or member, additional documents may apply, including:
- appointment or service terms;
- the CURA Membership Agreement;
- membership particulars;
- privacy and consent documentation; and
- treatment-specific informed-consent documents.
If there is an inconsistency between these Website Terms and a specific written clinical or membership agreement, the specific agreement governs that service to the extent of the inconsistency.
7. Prices and availability
Prices, inclusions and availability displayed on the Website are current when published but may change. Any applicable price will be confirmed before you commit to a paid service.
Where the Website refers to a limited cohort, membership cap, introductory price, credit or other offer, availability is subject to the terms stated with that offer and any applicable membership documentation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Bookings and enquiries
An appointment request or expression of interest is a request for CURA to contact you. It does not necessarily constitute confirmation of an appointment. An appointment is confirmed when CURA or its booking system provides confirmation.
You are responsible for providing accurate contact information and for notifying CURA if your circumstances change.
9. Information you provide
You agree that information submitted through the Website will, to the best of your knowledge, be accurate and not deliberately misleading.
You should not:
- impersonate another person;
- submit information you are not authorised to provide;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to CURA systems;
- introduce malicious software or code; or
- use the Website in a manner that interferes with its security or operation.
Health information you provide is dealt with under the CURA Privacy Policy.
10. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the Website and its contents are owned by or licensed to CURA. This includes the CURA name, branding, written material, clinical frameworks, graphics, photographs, videos, page designs and other original material.
You may view, download or print reasonable portions for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, republish, commercially exploit, modify or distribute substantial portions of Website content without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
11. Articles and educational material
Articles, essays and educational content published by CURA may discuss emerging evidence, clinical uncertainty and matters on which reasonable practitioners differ. They are intended for education and commentary rather than diagnosis or treatment of an individual reader.
Nothing published on the Website guarantees that a particular treatment will be recommended or produce a particular outcome.
12. Third-party services and links
The Website may refer or link to third-party healthcare providers, laboratories, imaging services, allied-health practitioners, technology services, journals or other websites.
A link or reference does not mean CURA controls that organisation or guarantees its services, information, security or availability. Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
13. Website availability and security
We take reasonable steps to maintain the Website but do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free or free of malicious code. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security on your own device and internet connection.
14. Accuracy of Website content
We aim to keep Website information accurate and current. Medicine, clinical evidence, service availability and pricing can change. We may amend Website content without notice.
To the extent permitted by law, CURA does not warrant that every piece of general information published on the Website is complete or appropriate for every circumstance. This does not permit CURA to make misleading representations about its services.
15. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Subject to those rights, CURA is not responsible for loss arising solely from:
- treating general Website information as individual medical advice;
- delaying urgent medical care while awaiting an online response;
- reliance on content of a third-party website;
- circumstances outside CURA's reasonable control affecting Website availability; or
- unauthorised or improper use of the Website.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
16. Privacy
Your use of the Website is also governed by the CURA Privacy Policy.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms where our Website, services or legal obligations change. The current version will be published on the Website with its effective date.
18. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and courts entitled to hear appeals from them, subject to any rights you may have under applicable consumer legislation.
